Who we are

glamp.eco is run by GLAMP ECO LIMITED. Registered in England and Wales, company number 17316248. Registered office: 3 Weekley Wood Close, Kettering, Northamptonshire, NN14 1UQ. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

What we collect

Booking details: name, email, phone, postal address, guest numbers, dog details, dates, special requests and booking history.
Payment details: handled by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
Mailing list and prize draw: name, email and the date you signed up.
Enquiries: anything you send us through contact forms, email or phone, including "Find me a stay" requests.
Signing in: if you choose “Continue with Google”, Google shares your name and email address with us.
Website use: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and how you arrived (for example from a Google advert). Collected through cookies, see below.

How we use it and our legal basis

To take and manage your booking, including shuttle seats, confirmations and refunds. Legal basis: contract.
To send booking updates, including construction news that affects your stay and resort opening dates. Legal basis: contract.
To send marketing emails (Universal Studios Bedford news, offers, new pods). Legal basis: consent. Unsubscribe any time using the link in every email.
To run the prize draw and contact the winner. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
To tell you when accommodation becomes available after a "Find me a stay" request. Legal basis: consent.
To measure our adverts and improve the website. Legal basis: consent, given through the cookie banner.
To keep accounting and tax records. Legal basis: legal obligation.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We share it only with providers who process it for us under contract:

Website hosting: Vercel Inc.
Payments: Stripe Payments UK Ltd
Database, sign-in and file storage: Supabase Inc.
Email delivery: Resend
Advertising and analytics: Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC
Our accountants, insurers and professional advisers where needed

When we tell you about partner hotels, apartments or cabin sites after a "Find me a stay" request, we send you their details. We do not pass your details to them without asking you first.

We may disclose data where the law requires it, for example to HMRC or the police.

Transfers outside the UK

Some providers store data in the USA. Where they do, we rely on the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to protect it.

How long we keep it

Bookings and payment records: 6 years after your stay or refund, for tax purposes.
Mailing list: until you unsubscribe, then a suppression record so we don't email you again.
Prize draw entries: 12 months after the winner is announced.
Enquiries: 2 years from our last contact, unless they become a booking.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or transfer it to another organisation. You can withdraw consent at any time. Email our contact form. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to sort it out first.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use:

Essential cookies to run the booking system, keep you logged in to "My bookings" and remember your cookie choices. These are always on.
Advertising and measurement cookies from Google to see which adverts lead to bookings and to show you relevant adverts. These only run if you click "Accept" on our cookie banner.

Change your choice any time using "Cookie settings" in the website footer, or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Children

Bookings, the mailing list and the prize draw are for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children, other than names and ages of children included in a booking by the lead guest.

Changes

We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. If a change affects your booking, we will email you.
